The Production Checker is responsible for accurately logging ingredients used in the production room. This involves reviewing and verifying materials, transferring data from various sources, and maintaining organized, accurate records to support our production and inventory operations.
1. Verification of Materials:
- Review production batches and loads to confirm lot codes, ingredient types, and quantities.
- Accurately document the weight and amount of each ingredient used or received in production.
- Create and maintain records detailing ingredient quantities, lot codes, and types used during each production cycle.
- Transfer data from physical and digital sources into organized logs and databases.
- Record the amount of materials received, used, and returned during production.
- Track inventory movement and ensure proper labeling and logging.
- Ensure all material usage—both inbound and outbound—is processed accurately and safely.
- Collaborate with warehouse and production personnel to support smooth operations.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing ingredients for damage or quality issues.
- Report any discrepancies or concerns to the appropriate team for resolution.
- Strong attention to detail:
Critical for ensuring data accuracy and identifying inconsistencies. - Basic math skills:
Ability to perform simple calculations, including weight conversions and inventory counts. - Effective communication:
Must be able to clearly communicate with team members and supervisors to report findings or issues. - Organizational skills:
Ability to maintain structured records and prioritize tasks in a dynamic production environment. - Reliability and accountability:
Must be dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Experience in food production, manufacturing, or warehouse environments.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Full-time position-2nd shift, Monday through Friday 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight)
