Position Summary:
We are currently seeking entry to mid-level Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher to join our team. This role will report directly to the Service Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our service department. This position is ideal for highly motivated individuals who are eager to start their career in customer service and learn the intricacies of dispatch operations within the HVACR industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound calling to existing customers (this will be your primary function. If you are not OK with outbound calling and you do not enjoy talking on the phone with customer this job is not for you)
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing prompt and professional assistance.
- Efficiently dispatch service technicians, coordinating schedules to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
- Monitor technicians’ daily productivity, ensuring they meet the company’s standards and expectations.
- Follow up on parts orders and inventory, maintaining effective communication with service technicians and vendors.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with service and installation crews.
- Assist in ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall profitability of the service department.
Qualifications:
- Highly motivated and willing to learn.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
- Proficient computing skills with a willingness to quickly learn dispatching and vehicle tracking programs, as well as working with online suppliers and vendors.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Sound judgment and critical thinking capabilities.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance are essential.
