Position Summary
Cook Plumbing Corporation is seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. This role will work in tandem with our main delivery driver to transport plumbing materials, tools, and equipment to job sites and customers in a safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and committed to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles (including CDL-required vehicles) to deliver plumbing supplies to job sites and customers
- Load and unload materials, ensuring items are secured and handled properly
- Verify delivery orders for accuracy before departure and upon arrival
- Maintain delivery schedules and communicate delays or issues promptly
- Assist warehouse staff with organizing inventory and preparing orders as needed
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Comply with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers and team members
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (required)
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (occasionally up to 100 lbs)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of plumbing materials (preferred)
- Previous delivery or warehouse experience is a plus
Work Schedule
- Full-time or part-time position offered
- Hours of operation are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
