Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Real Estate Attorney role based in Marshville, NC and Wadesboro, NC. The Real Estate Attorney will draft, review, and negotiate contracts and leases related to residential and commercial property transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal due diligence, managing closings, advising clients on real estate development projects, and coordinating with lenders, title insurers, and other parties involved in transactions. The role involves preparing and reviewing title opinions, handling business entity formations associated with real estate deals, and supporting 1031 like-kind exchanges. The attorney will work closely with property owners, developers, management groups, and franchisees to structure transactions that align with legal requirements and client objectives.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in North Carolina.
• Background in real estate or business is highly beneficial.
• Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Location & Travel Expectations:

• This role will be based out of Marshville, NC and Wadesboro, NC.  
• This role requires daily attendance in the office, with regular in-person closings.
• Travel: Frequent travel between office locations will be required. Valid driver's license required. Fuel allowance provided.

This is a full-time position eligible to receive a base salary. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.

Initial base salary range = $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 Fuel expense
