What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Rep - Physician Enterprise position at Conway Regional?
Directly responsible for scheduling PCN clinic patients for treatment, processing patients' demographic, verifying insurance, processing payments, handling calls, and coordinating with nursing staff and physicians to provide efficient services to PCN clinic patients. This role requires strong organizational skills, customer service, computer proficiency with EMR software, and excellent communication skills to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient satisfaction
Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors in a professional, courteous, and compassionate manner.
Check in patients, verify demographics, insurance, and collect co-pays or outstanding balances.
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments, pre-op, and post-op visits.
Answer and route incoming phone calls; respond to inquiries within scope of role.
Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Prepare and organize patient charts and required paperwork for surgical consultations.
Coordinate with medical assistants, nurses, and providers to support patient flow and minimize wait times.
- Willingness to travel to satelite clinics on occasion.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
Previous experience in a medical office or surgical clinic strongly preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and EMR systems preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
