Performance Responsibilities
- Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
- Leadership Responsibilities
- Nurtures and sustains a culture of collaboration, trust, learning, and high expectations.
- Lends support in creating a personalized and motivating learning environment for students.
- Assists in the supervision of instruction.
- Helps maximize time spent on quality instruction.
- Assists with the collection, use, and analysis of data to identify goals, assess organizational effectiveness, and promote organizational learning.
- Administrative Responsibilities
- Helps direct, observe, and evaluate work of personnel assigned to their school.
- Assists in securing necessary substitutes, when appropriate.
- Participates in interviewing staff, when appropriate.
- Management Responsibilities
- Helps monitor and evaluate the management of operational systems.
- Promotes and protects the welfare and safety of students and staff.
- Aids the principal in ensuring teacher and organizational time is focused to support quality instruction and student learning.
- Public Relations Responsibilities
- Promotes understanding, appreciation, and use of the community's diverse cultural, social, and intellectual resources.
- Builds and sustains positive relationships with families and caregivers.
- Safeguards the values of democracy, equity, and diversity.
- Legal Responsibilities
- Considers and evaluates the potential moral and legal consequences of decision-making.
- Promotes social justice and ensures that individual student needs inform all aspects of school.
- Other duties, as assigned.
