What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier - CMC Café position at Conway Medical Center?
Position Summary:
The Dietary Cashier will be responsible for performing clerical and money management tasks in the cafeteria. The Dietary Cashier will provide outstanding customer service to all Conway Medical Center (CMC) patients, visitors, and staff.
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma required.
- (Current CMC Dietary Aide - Cashiers hired prior to Nov. 1, 2014 are grandfathered without satisfying High School Diploma.)
Experience
- Minimum two (2) years previous experience as cashier required.
- Previous experience in food service preferred.
*Assessment of overall credit worthiness by review of a consumer credit report is required.*
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet all patients and their accompanying family members when applicable and provide exemplary customer service.
- Enter meal totals, accurately complete all transactions, and complete all cash reports after each meal period.
- Inventory area to ensure that condiments, utensils, and other areas are clean and well stocked.
- Always maintains cashier station and dining room in a clean and orderly condition.
- Consistently display effective verbal communication skills.
- Proficient understanding and use of technology/PC skills required.
- Completes other duties as assigned by department leadership.
Salary : $25,000 - $40,000
