Applicant must be 21 , have a clean driving record, have completed high school or GED, and be able to pass all background and drug screenings.
Duties
- Safely operate buses and transit vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including providing wheelchair assistance and supporting individuals with mobility challenges.
- Ensure passenger safety by enforcing behavior management policies and maintaining order during trips.
- Respond quickly to traffic changes, road conditions, or emergencies by applying defensive driving techniques and emergency response procedures for transportation.
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify mechanical issues; report any concerns promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with passengers, addressing questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Follow school policies or transit protocols related to student discipline or senior care as applicable.
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
