Duties
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges with attention to detail.
- Provide friendly customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product demos when needed.
- Handle cash transactions confidently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end.
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, ensuring efficient flow during busy times.
- Restock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure products are well-presented and accessible for customers.
- Assist with merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring products are correctly labeled and stocked.
- Support inventory management through stocking, product rotation, and participating in stock counts to keep the store well-supplied.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Supervising experience is a plus, especially in managing team members or overseeing daily store operations.
- Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively.
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette are essential for engaging with customers and team members professionally.
- Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks.
