- Identify and qualify leads through calls, emails, social media, and in-person outreach
- Engage with existing customers & prospects to uncover untapped opportunities, schedule discovery meetings, and build a personal book of business with the support of Account Managers and other Internal Resources
- Maintain accurate CRM records and track lead progress
- Participate in ongoing training and development
- Meet weekly activity and appointment goals

Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Reports To: VP Sales
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday (and as required for business needs)
Objective
Drive early-stage sales by identifying and qualifying leads within assigned accounts. Represent the company professionally and enthusiastically while learning core sales skills and contributing to pipeline growth.
Scope & Responsibilities
- Prospect new business via calls, emails, social media, and drop-ins
- Qualify inbound leads and schedule discovery meetings
- Maintain CRM records and track lead progress
- Collaborate with Account Managers to tailor solutions and close deals
- Participate in training and development sessions
- Meet weekly activity and appointment goals
- 24-month structured training & development program with clear metrics for possible advancement, continuous mentoring, and the opportunity to earn commissions as you develop
Key Challenges
- Consistently achieving daily and monthly outreach and meeting quotas in a competitive environment
- Developing rapport and trust with prospects in short timeframes and overcoming objections
- Managing time effectively while juggling multiple leads and tasks
- Maintaining motivation and resilience in a high-rejection, target-driven role
- Adapting outreach strategies to different industries, buyer personas, and communication styles
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation (preferably B2B)
- Strong communication, organization, and CRM proficiency
- Ability to build relationships quickly and establish credibility
- Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
Performance Metrics
- 125 outbound prospecting attempt weekly (combining calls, emails, drop-ins).
- 4 customer/prospect appointments / week.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salaried, exempt position with commission structure based on qualified sale contribution; Salary paid semi-monthly, and commissions are paid the second pay period of the following month when commission were earned.
