Converse Consultants is looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer (GE) that can manage technical and managerial functions in the Redlands Office. Candidate must be technically proficient and familiar with Southern California, have staff management skills, client management skills, and business networking skills. The position is open to motivated individuals with various levels of experience for the skills described but must be a California Professional Engineer seeking to become a licensed Geotechnical Engineer or already a GE.
Typical Duties
- Manage staff workloads and schedules
- Hire, train and supervise personnel
- Manage client expectations and communication
- Plans, develops, coordinates and directs small & large projects with complex features.
- Perform technical engineering
- Track projects budgets and schedules and reviews reports.
- Ascertain that deliverables are submitted to the client on schedule and within budget.
- Maintain existing clients and develop new business.
- Attend business networking functions to grow business
- Participate in the growth and business development of Converse
Education/Registration Status/Professional Attainments
- Bachelor's Degree at a minimum, Master’s Degree preferred
- Registered Civil and Geotechnical Engineer
