As our Growth Engineer – Automation, you’ll build the internal engine that makes Conveo scale.
This is not “Zapier admin.”\ This is a builder role for someone who can combine:
- code no-code
- tooling data
- automation ops thinking
This Includes Things Like
- automations across tools (n8n, Clay, Zapier, Intercom, HubSpot, Heyreach, Cal.com, etc.)
- routing enrichment lifecycle flows
- dashboards and reporting automation
- tooling that makes marketing and GTM faster
- internal tooling / scripts / integrations
- Automate the marketing GTM machine
- inbound routing
- enrichment and segmentation
- lifecycle triggers
- lead/contact/company syncing
- outreach workflows
- scheduling reminders
- data hygiene
- Build systems that don’t break
- clean logic
- monitoring

- Increase speed and output across teams

- Own the “how we scale” layer

Non-negotiables
- Strong automation systems mindset
- Comfortable across code (can be vibe-coding with Lovable etc. but strong preference for an engineering background) and no-code
- Tool fluency (n8n, Clay, Zapier/Make, CRM, analytics, Intercom, etc.)
- Great debugging instincts
- High ownership and speed
- Ability to ship small internal tools
- High agency, low ego
- Outcome-driven
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Pragmatic and fast
- Quality-focused but not perfectionist
- Enjoys ownership more than job titles
- Data engineering instincts
- Experience in high-growth startups where everything is messy
- Manual busywork drops dramatically
- Routing, enrichment, and lifecycle flows become clean and reliable
- Tooling “just works” and scales with volume
