Conundrum Farms — South Fort Worth, TX
Full-time or Part-time • $20–$28/hr DOE • Starting 20 hrs/wk
About Conundrum Farms
Conundrum Farms is a small regenerative farm in South Fort Worth dedicated to sustainable agriculture, community engagement, and wellness. We grow healthy food while building connection through weekly markets, farm-to-table dinners, educational events, and wellness programming. As we grow, we’re looking for a passionate, organized, and proactive leader to help us thrive — operationally, socially, and digitally.
Role Overview
The Agritourism Operations & Events Manager is the heart of our daily farm operations, community engagement, and marketing efforts. You’ll work alongside our full-time farm manager (who oversees produce production) and report directly to the farm owners. This role is ideal for a natural organizer who loves people, events, small farm environments, and wearing many hats.
This is a “jack of all trades” position — you’ll be most successful if you’re entrepreneurially minded, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once.
Key Responsibilities
Event Coordination (15–20 hrs/wk)
• Lead and plan weekly Sunday market logistics (10:30am–4:30pm), including vendor coordination, food services, and class scheduling
• Plan and execute farm events such as farm-to-table dinners, educational classes, and Wellness Wednesdays
• Manage bookings, communication, and calendar for private event rentals; serve as on-site point of contact
• Schedule and lead property tours for prospective event clients
• Ability to respond to event inquiries within 24 hrs during weekdays
Marketing & Communications (5 hrs/wk)
• Manage and grow the farm’s social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
• Develop and execute a social media content calendar and strategy
• Assist with website maintenance and updates
• Support farm merchandise and branding efforts
Staff Management (2–10 hrs/wk)
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, scheduling, payroll, and communication for farm staff, in coordination with the farm manager and owner
• Weekly staff updates
• Conduct bi-annual performance reviews and support staff development
• Plan and execute a quarterly team “family meal” to build staff culture
Farm Operations Support (2–5 hrs/wk)
• Maintain the whole-farm calendar to coordinate smooth operations and event scheduling
• Collaborate with farm owners and farm manager on annual vision planning and large-scale projects
• Manage on-site Airbnb bookings, coordinate shared patio use, and schedule cleaning
Qualifications
Required
• 2 years of experience in event planning, farm operations, hospitality management, or small business management
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Active and proficient use of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team
• Availability on Sundays, 10:30am–4:30pm
• Calm, professional presence for in-person client and vendor interactions
Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in business, event management, hospitality, agritourism, or related field
• Experience with website management (Squarespace, Wix, or similar)
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva experience a plus)
• Passion for regenerative agriculture and community building
