Job Description

Responsible for development of Automated Logic software for the purpose of controlling HVAC/Lighting and integrating third party devices to the Automated Logic building automation system per the engineer’s sequence of operation using CSC established standard.

Duties

• Communicating regular progress reports for project managers, project directors and clients
• Initial project review
• Review sequence of operations
• Generate databases using ALC Sitebuilder
• Generate software programs using ALC Logicbuilder
• Modifications to existing systems as needed
• Program simulation, troubleshoot as needed
• Improving system efficiencies
• Integration of multiple systems
• Knowledge of industry standard integration (Modbus, Lonworks, BACnet, etc.)
• Coordinate with project directors and project engineers
• Custom report generation
• Implement change orders
• Manage multiple projects with competing priorities
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills
• A creative approach for generating new ideas
• A sound knowledge of MS Office software
• An excellent grasp of engineering and software principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Good team working skills
• A comprehensive understanding of ALC products and software preferred
• 3-5 years of industry related field experience with HVAC systems preferred
  
  

The role requires 3-5 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a strong understanding of engineering and software principles. Candidates should have excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and proficiency in MS Office. Familiarity with ALC products and software is preferred, along with knowledge of industry standard integration protocols like Modbus, Lonworks, and BACnet.
