Lead manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding performance metrics (quality, productivity, cycle time, delivery, and cash flow). Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Strategy:
  • Build a high-performing team,providing coaching,development,and feedback.
  • Collaborate with plant management to set strategic goals and translate them into operational plans.
  • Champion lean manufacturing initiatives,eliminating waste and optimizing flow.
  • Analyze production data and reports,identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Drive cost reductions while maintaining top-notch delivery performance.
• Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee production planning and execution,ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  • Manage product quality metrics,minimizing defects and rework.
  • Implement and maintain positive employee relations,fostering a safe and engaging workplace.
  • Address safety concerns promptly and promote injury prevention initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with all departments,including procurement,maintenance,and quality control.
• Communication and Collaboration:
  • Communicate clearly and concisely,keeping all stakeholders informed.
  • Build strong relationships with customers,ensuring satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
  • Effectively manage and contribute to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g.,Engineering,Business Administration)
• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
• Preferred:
  • Experience implementing and leading lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
  • Master's degree
  • Proven ability to build and motivate teams
  • Strong communication,interpersonal,and coaching skills
  • Knowledge of machine setup reduction techniques and MRP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Business acumen and organizational skills
  • U.S.person status for ITAR compliance
