Housing Coordinator - Temp to Perm

Monday to Friday - 8:30am-5pm. Pay starting at $17 depending on experience could be higher.

The Community Leasing Agent is responsible for the leasing, marketing, and formation of positive resident relations of the community. This role is a combination of sales, marketing, customer service and daily office administration. This role must have the ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends.

Essential Functions:

1. Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and all other Federal, State and Local laws pertaining to Multi-Family Housing.
2. Successfully complete all steps in the leasing and renewal process using outstanding sales and customer service techniques.
3. Stay informed of current rental rates, sizes, locations and all amenities of the property.
4. Use established property tour route utilizing sales skills to demonstrate market ready product and availability to close prospects. Maintain reports to show closing ratio of at least 50%.
5. Comply with the Company Employee Handbook and the Property Management Department Training Manual.
6. Develop positive working relationships with residents and coworkers, ensuring that resident inquires and complaints are addressed in a timely and satisfactory manner to ensure maximum number of lease renewals.7. In absence of the Community Business Manager or Assistant Community Manager, schedule maintenance and on-site personnel.
8. Complete all necessary paperwork, reporting, and filing on an ongoing basis.
9. Assist at other communities or at events outside normal work hours as requested.
10. Complete any function typical of this career path as requested by management.

Education, Licenses, or Certificates Required:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience Required:
Sales and/or Customer service experience.

Skills Required:

Excellent communication skills including outgoing personality and thrives on interaction with people. Assertive and competitive. Self-driven with the ability to close the deal.
