Summary / Primary Role:
The Warehouse Inventory Specialist receives, stores, and issues materials, equipment and other items from stockroom or warehouse. This role is also responsible for maintaining inventory records and compilation of stock reports.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

· Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigates discrepancies or adjusting errors.
· Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
· Locates and relocates products as needed utilizing aerial lift, and other equipment as necessary.
· Marks stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
· Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
· Determines proper storage methods, identification, and stock locations based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
· Keeps records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
· Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects reporting any damage to supervisors.
· If an employee is required to work in the clean/pharmaceutical room, must follow clean room policy Doc#0-568 and all policies that coincide with it (I.E. Frozen Policy-Clean Operations and Sanitation Policy).
· Material disposal responsibilities
· Completes EPA Report
· Prepares Disposal Report
· Empty containers- entering all charges into the system for the monthly order, keeping track of the empty drums.
· Entering Extra Charges into the WMS
· Assists with coordinating Cycle Counts and Inventory Checks for Customers
· ALL OTHER DUTIES AND PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED.
Qualifications and Key Skills:
(The following are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, or ability required for this position)
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Must receive Scissor Lift Certification (internally) within first 90 days (about 3 months) of employment
· Hazardous materials knowledge preferred
· Forklift experience is preferred
· Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge is preferred
· Food Safety and Defense / HAACP knowledge is preferred
· Knowledge and ability to work with bar code scanner is preferred
Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
