Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Catering Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the General Manager and Catering Chef to plan, coordinate, and execute all catering events. This position requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and support catering operations to ensure exceptional service and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with the General Manager to successfully plan and execute catering events.
- Work closely with the Catering Chef to coordinate menu planning, staffing needs, and scheduling for drop-offs.
- Build and maintain Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for all needed events, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks including email correspondence, scheduling, and event documentation when necessary.
- Oversee & executing on-site event set up and breakdown to guarantee a smooth and professional operation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to meet event requirements and expectations.
- Works hand and hand with catering associate to ensure all catering needs are met.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, health, and sanitation standards.
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or food service management preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours scheduled anywhere between 5:00am-4:00pm
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
