Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role based in San Leandro, CA. The Sales Representative will focus on building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, promoting CWC®’s industrial supply product lines, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting sales calls and visits, preparing quotes, processing orders, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to provide accurate product information, resolve issues promptly, and support customers with tailored solutions across multiple industries. The Sales Representative will be expected to meet sales targets, maintain detailed records in the CRM system, and actively participate in local market and industry activities to increase brand
presence.Qualifications
- Strong skills in customer relationship management, consultative selling, and account development; ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Experience with outbound and inbound sales activities, including prospecting, lead follow-up, and closing deals in a B2B environment.
- Solid communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical product features and benefits clearly.
- Proficiency with basic business software tools (e.g., CRM systems, email, spreadsheets) and comfort working with sales reports and metrics.
- Background in or familiarity with industrial supplies, safety products, or related sectors such as construction, warehousing, or manufacturing is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple customer demands.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to customer sites as needed.
