Experienced Metals & Steel Inside Sales Job

Continental Steel and Tube is looking for an experienced Metals and Steel Inside Salesperson in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Applicant must already know industry language.

Continental Steel has been in business over 40 years. We sell a wide range of metal products.

Titanium, Nickel, Aluminum, Stainless, Alloy Steel, Carbon Steel, Copper Brass & Bronze.

Continental Steel will provide the leads and you close the deals.

• Develop new accounts and implement plans for growth in existing accounts
• Strong selling and closing skills
• Knowledge of Purchasing and Sourcing skills a bonus.
• Excellent memory for Customers and Materials
• Provide quotes and follow up, order entry into the order fulfillment system to initiate the sales/ distribution process
• Continually provide feedback on sales opportunities to management.
• Ensure delivery of customer orders on a timely basis, and with the highest possible level of quality and service
• Coordinate with appropriate departments in the resolution of customer complaints regarding damaged or incorrect material, or delivery problems.
• Provide customers with a personalized level of customer service that reinforces the importance of customer satisfaction.

Education and/or Experience

• Must possess strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Competitive, and self-motivated attitude
• Detail oriented
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or the equivalent in training and experience.
