Cherry Blossom Senior Living is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to join our leadership team at the Senior Executive Director level. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned leader who is passionate about driving operational excellence, mentoring future leaders, and enhancing the lives of seniors.
About the Role:
The Senior Executive Director is a key leadership position within Continental Senior Communities, responsible for providing strategic, operational, and cultural leadership for one or more communities. This role ensures excellence in daily operations while also playing a critical part in developing leadership talent across the organization.
This individual will serve as a mentor and leader, helping to train, develop, and guide team members while strengthening the company’s leadership pipeline and succession planning efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of community operations, ensuring high standards of care and service
- Drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and financial performance
- Lead and inspire teams to deliver exceptional resident experiences and satisfaction
- Mentor and develop emerging leaders across the organization
- Support multiple communities as needed, including interim Executive Director assignments
- Lead special projects and organizational initiatives
- Foster a positive, mission-driven culture aligned with company values
Position Requirements:
- Approximately 20 years of experience in operations with a proven track record of results
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Demonstrated success in senior living, healthcare, or multi-site operations preferred
- Ability to travel overnight up to 75% of the time
- Flexibility to take on interim leadership roles and special projects as needed
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
