Job Title: Full-Time Cook
Location: Red Cedar Lodge Senior Living
Schedule: Full-Time | 6am – 2:30pm
Position Summary:
Red Cedar Lodge Senior Living is seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to join our team. In this role, you will prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook daily meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary guidelines
- Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served in a timely and appealing manner
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
- Accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions
- Assist with inventory, food storage, and kitchen organization
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen workspace
- Collaborate with team members to provide an excellent dining experience for residents
Qualifications:
- Previous cooking experience required (healthcare or senior living experience preferred)
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Dependable, team-oriented, and compassionate attitude
