Continental is a full-service contract security company providing security services to our clients in the city of Toledo, as well as the rest of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Manage access control at the school entrance while stationed at the main entry desk.
• Signing in/out guests and visitors to the school.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations by following established school procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response protocols.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and accuracy.
• De-escalate conflicts using conflict management techniques while maintaining professionalism and compliance with security regulations, assist School staff as needed.
• Strong communication skills for incident report writing and effective conflict de-escalation.
• Demonstrated customer service skills to interact professionally with students, staff, visitors, and external agencies.
• Ability to perform routine patrols on foot around school grounds and the interior of the school while maintaining alertness at all times.
• Ability to check purses, bags, etc. by using a Security Wand.
• The ability to work in a school environment.

SHIFT Information:

This is a 1st shift, Monday - Friday position from 0815 - 1515 or until the last student leaves the school building.
