This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, analyzing labor, material, and time requirements, and coordinating with project managers and engineers to provide cost-effective solutions. Other day-to-day tasks include evaluating bid specifications, attending pre-bid meetings, and maintaining relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Proficiency in cost estimation, bid preparation, and proposal development
- Strong analytical skills for labor, material, and time assessments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and team members
- Experience with construction management software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant certifications and experience in the construction industry are a plus
