As a Maintenance Technician at Contech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous operation of our manufacturing equipment. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and install all plant equipment.
- Perfom emergency repairs
- Accountable for Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) process.
- Educates, directs, trains, and supports employees in reference to TPM and equipment repair compliance and is responsible for maintenance budget.
- Identifying cost-effective solutions for replacing obsolete components.
- Adjusts repairs or replaces parts, assemblies, and machine equipment.
- Reads and interprets blueprints for repair and installation of equipment.
- Preventative maintenance
- Will work closely with the production team
- Modify or fabricate parts and mounting hardware as needed to restore functionality
- Possible 5% travel to surrounding plants
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, including part replacements, torque specifications, lubrication, and system tests.
We Require:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrates understanding of mechanical/electrical problems and fixes.
- Good organizational skills.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Good root cause problem solving skills.
- Hands on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and light electrical systems within a heavy industrial environment.
