We are looking for a FORKLIFT OPERATOR to join our Winchester, KY plant. As a forklift operator with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management. About the Role
- Complete pre- and post-shift daily audits and maintain the forklift’s daily safety checklist.
- Operate forklift to build loads by assembling product into bundles and complete detailed paperwork for each load.
- Assist with material handling to ensure raw materials and finished goods are stored in the proper location.
- Prepare lumber for dunnage use, operate saws and nail guns with precision.
- Regularly fuel and maintain forklift and ensure it is parked in designated areas at the end of each day.
- Record and turn in production records as required.
- Keep yard area in a neat and orderly condition by organizing strapping, boards, stringers, and more.
We Require:
- Prior manufacturing, production, or distribution experience.
- Certification on Forklift Operation preferred.
- Ability to operate forklift in accordance with required guidelines.
- Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
- Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.
