Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and motivated Production Machining Operators to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role follows standard work instructions and emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Perform tool changes and leak testing
- Operate Chiron drill machines, Okuma lathes, and forklifts
- Conduct hardness testing
- Re-balance, inspect, and palletize parts
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Equipment & Tools Used
- Allen wrenches
- Files and die grinders
- Deburring knives
- General shop and hand tools
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- Ability to stand for 8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift 50–60 lbs repeatedly without restriction
- Strong motor skills and hand-eye-foot coordination
- Ability to distinguish colors accurately
- Willingness to work off-shifts and overtime as required
- Must have own reliable transportation (no carpooling)
- Valid Driver’s License required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or machining experience
- Forklift experience (sit-down or stand-up)
- Stable work history with minimal job hopping
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent lifting up to 60 lbs
- Repetitive motion and standing for extended periods
- No physical restrictions that would limit job performance
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
