Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of our group homes for Adults with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in long-term care, experience with resident care in a group home setting. As a Residential Site Manager, you will lead a team of healthcare professionals and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that promote residents’ well-being, safety, and independence. Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of 1 group home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Supervise, mentor, and support staff including caregivers and support personnel to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents with diverse needs.
- Assist in control of expenses and household budget.
- Coordinate medication administration and health services in accordance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Facilitate effective communication between residents, families, healthcare providers, and staff to promote transparency and satisfaction.
- Lead efforts in quality assurance, resident safety initiatives, and continuous improvement processes to uphold high standards of care.
- Support residents’ social engagement by organizing activities aligned with their interests and capabilities while respecting their dignity and independence.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within group home setting.
- Extensive knowledge of individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Strong understanding of care planning processes and regulatory requirements related to long-term care environments.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising multidisciplinary teams in home & community care settings.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents’ families, staff members, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
