About Us:
Consumer Support Services, Inc. is trusted in communities throughout Ohio as a provider of housing and support services to people with disabilities. We have a long history of empowering individuals, by working in partnership with their families or guardians to be responsive to their loved one's specific needs. We are looking for highly motivated individuals for the position of HOME MANAGER($18.50 hourly) in the GREENVILLE area to assist individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on quality care and daily activities.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise DSP staff and Lead Staff.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service sites and assure services to the individuals based upon their Ohio ISP.
- Be available to staff and individuals on an on-call basis.
- Make decisions on a call-by-call basis concerning day-to-day operations of the service sites assigned.
- Call the Program Coordinator/County Director as needed for assistance in making decisions.
- Communicate all incidents as requested by the Program
- Coordinator/County Director.
- Participate in New Employee Training as assigned.
- Ensure compliance to CSS policies and procedures by training staff and implementing disciplinary action on a progressive basis per CSS Policy and Procedure
- Adhere to budgetary constraints assigned to the sites in which you supervise.
- Investigate all incidents of unknown origin and assure follow-up documentation.
- Ensure appropriate notifications per CSS Policy and County Procedure.
- Oversee the living arrangements of individuals.
- Ensure compliance with individual’s Bill of Rights.
- Manage individual accounts per their interdisciplinary plan, ensuring accountability for all individual funds.
- Assist with medical appointments as needed.
- Visit service sites as necessary to ensure appropriate services are being delivered per Ohio ISP no less than twice weekly for all 24-hour sites and for all drop in sites as needed.
- Prepare assessments and reports concerning individuals as requested.
- Ensure that all needs of the individuals assigned are fulfilled.
- Ensure that the home meets all regulatory standards set forth by governing agencies.
- Complete evaluations for all employees that you supervise per CSS policy and procedures as assigned.
- Participate as a trainer for all staff as assigned by the Program
- Coordinator/County Director/HR Coordinator.
- Work in conjunction with the Program Coordinator/QIDP/County Director of your site to ensure all programmatic needs are being met.
- Communicate to your Program Coordinator/County Director behavioral, medical problems and medication issues that may arise.
- Assist with any redeterminations for your individuals with the Department of Job and Family Services.
- Hold meetings with staff and individuals as needed and ensure appropriate documentation of these meetings to be given to the Program Coordinator/County Director.
- Coordinate on-call services for the site you supervise.
- Attend all interdisciplinary and special meetings.
- Assist in UIR/MUI process as assigned.
- Ensure completion of approving in Brittco as assigned.
- Act as a liaison between CSS and regulatory agencies.
- Adhere to all policies in the CSS Policy and Procedure Manuals.
- Adhere to all safety standards set forth per regulatory agencies and CSS.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the employee
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Proof of auto insurance required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Able to pass background requirements & Pre-employment drug testing
SS card OR Birth Certificate
