Role: School Occupational Therapist (OT) responsible for providing therapy services to students in a school setting.
Responsibilities: Partner with the educational team to evaluate and screen students, deliver evidence-based direct and consultative therapy, collect and report data, and maintain accurate documentation. Provide training and resources to staff and communicate effectively with teachers, families, and colleagues to support student progress.
Qualifications & Skills: Must have an active Occupational Therapy license in WY, graduate from an accredited OT program, and preferably hold NBCOT certification. Excellent communication skills and previous school experience are advantageous. Completion of background checks is required.
Key Duties: Address motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive functions impacting academic, self-care, play, and social participation. Collaborate with the team to help students achieve their educational goals and provide resources for staff development.
