- Promoting evidence-based practice through assessment, individualized care planning, interventions, and ongoing evaluation.
- Assessing patient status via interviews, observations, and physical exams; developing and adjusting care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team.
- Ensuring safety and proper use of equipment, performing bedside lab testing, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Coordinating interdisciplinary care, prioritizing patient needs, and facilitating effective communication.
- Providing patient education tailored to cultural, age, and developmental needs, ensuring safety and understanding.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives by data collection, analysis, and implementing process enhancements.
- Fostering professional development, sharing knowledge, and maintaining current clinical skills.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, ENPC, PALS, CPI, and TNS within specified timeframes.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies and collaborate effectively within a team.
