Registered Nurse - Special Procedure Unit

The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating comprehensive nursing care, including direct patient care, education, and care transitions. They support professional practice across settings, adhering to the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model and ANA standards. The RN demonstrates leadership through mentoring, precepting, and quality improvement activities, delegating tasks based on skill, acuity, and resources.

Qualifications Include

• Graduation from a nursing program
• Current RN license as per state requirements
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience working with electronic medical records preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross
