Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU Float

Role Overview: This position involves providing compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The nurse performs the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking.

• Responsibilities: Deliver individualized care through effective partnerships, coordinate safe and quality care, and promote interdisciplinary communication. Participate in performance improvement activities, develop protocols, and support resource management to optimize patient outcomes.
• Professional Development: Complete ongoing competency assessments, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and engage in research and evidence-based practice to improve care standards.
• Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, valid RN license (multi-state preferred), BLS certification, and strong assessment, communication, and clinical skills. Ability to work calmly in emergencies and maintain effective relationships with patients and staff is essential.
