Registered Nurse - General / Telemetry Day Shift

Role Overview: The Staff Nurse provides high-level, patient-centered nursing care within a fast-paced, technical environment. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, they deliver direct and indirect care using the nursing process, ensuring age-appropriate and standards-compliant treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to promote understanding and collaboration.
• Build a safe, therapeutic environment, ensuring accurate medication and IV administration.
• Assume responsibility for educational processes and support professional growth and development.
• Utilize hospital policies and standards to deliver quality care and maintain confidentiality.
• Document patient information accurately and timely, and participate in team-building efforts.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• Current Texas nursing license and Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency.
• Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team skills.
  
  

Physical & Environmental Demands: The role involves standing, moving, bending, and handling materials, with exposure to blood and body fluids, hazardous conditions, and electrical equipment. It requires visual acuity and indoor work environment adherence.
