Role: Emergency Department Registered Nurse responsible for delivering urgent, compassionate care to diverse patients.
Responsibilities: Perform rapid assessments, administer emergency medications, manage IV lines, and execute life-saving interventions. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams during rounds, manage ED beds efficiently, and ensure seamless patient transitions. Promote trust through bedside reports, patient education, and communication. Lead quality improvement initiatives and advocate for evidence-based practice.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Active NY RN license; current ACLS, PALS, and stroke certifications or willingness to obtain. Requires excellent clinical judgment, problem-solving skills, and composure during emergencies. Must have authorization to work in the U.S. or eligible for TN Visa (Canada).
