- Conducting rapid patient assessments and prioritizing care based on acuity
- Administering emergency medications and managing advanced IV lines
- Implementing life-saving interventions under pressure
- Managing care for assigned ED beds in collaboration with physicians and staff
- Partnering during multidisciplinary rounds to ensure seamless patient flow
- Engaging in patient education and fostering trust through effective communication
- Promoting evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Active, unrestricted NY RN license
- Current ACLS, PALS, and stroke certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent clinical judgment, problem-solving, and composure during emergencies
- Work authorization for US or eligible Canadian TN Visa candidates
