- Assess and monitor patients recovering from anesthesia, managing pain and sedation effectively.
- Interpret vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient handoffs and high-quality outcomes.
- Document care accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Educate patients and families with compassion and cultural sensitivity.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience or knowledge in post-anesthesia care or critical care preferred.
- Strong assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively to patient changes.
