Key Responsibilities
- Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures using gamma cameras and proper injection techniques.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals via IV, perform IV puncture, and prepare exam rooms.
- Communicate with patients, explain procedures, obtain consent, and gather clinical histories.
- Position patients and select appropriate imaging protocols to ensure accurate results.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with regulations.
- Associate Degree or equivalent from a technical school or at least one year of related experience.
- Current ARRT (R) (NM) or NMTCB (CNMT) registry and BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: Minimum one year of Nuclear Medicine experience.
- Manual dexterity, ability to lift, push, pull, see, sit, speak, squat, stand, and walk as needed.
