Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, APPs, and nurses.
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and review medical histories.
- Order, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop patient-specific treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and follow hospital protocols.
- Provide guidance on therapeutic regimens, home care, and health maintenance.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices in hospital medicine.
- Willingness to work in a Nocturnist role.
- Successful completion of ACGME residency.
- ABIM Certification.
- Active Texas Medical License and DEA registration.
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center preferred.
- Ability to work a 7on/7off schedule supporting work-life balance.
- Team-oriented with opportunities to mentor and shape new hospitalists.
