We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Respite Provider to work with a young boy in the Eau Claire, WI area. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and committed to helping the child thrive through consistent routines and gentle guidance.
Wage:
- $14.13/hourly
Schedule:
- To be officially discussed and determined between provider and managing party. Approximation as follows:
- 4 hrs. per week, to be scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays based on mutual availability.
Tasks:
- Respite care is to be conducted in child’s home and out in the community. Community outings are encouraged.
- Provide 1v1 care and supervision during all indoor and outdoor activities.
- Help build and practice social and communication skills.
- Work on safety skills both in the home and out in the community
- Hang out and have fun! This kiddo enjoys: baseball, football, riding bikes, and so much more..
Requirements:
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a caregiver/criminal background check
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Preference to those with previous experience working with individuals with support needs.
