The Technical Business Analyst serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and successfully delivered. This role partners closely with product, development, testing, and release teams to support Agile delivery, data migration initiatives, and continuous process improvement within a highly regulated, enterprise environment.
*This role is hybrid out of Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the gathering, analysis, and translation of business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation
- Interface directly with senior and high-end stakeholders, facilitating discussions, managing expectations, and communicating delivery status
- Collaborate closely with development and testing teams to ensure alignment throughout the full Agile lifecycle
- Capture detailed meeting notes, document decisions, distribute action items, and manage delivery boards and schedules
- Support data migration efforts from First Bank to PNC, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and timely delivery of migrated information
- Drive backlog refinement and prioritization, shaping roadmaps and aligning delivery with business objectives
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, enhancing Agile workflows, efficiency, and team performance
- Coordinate release management activities, including release scheduling, documentation updates, and deployment readiness
- Utilize ServiceNow for ticket tracking, release coordination, and issue resolution
- Ensure documentation, reporting, and artifacts remain accurate and audit-ready
Must-Have Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Agile software delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools: Jira and Confluence
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow for ticketing and release management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI
- Experience with Dynatrace for dashboard monitoring and application performance insights
- Strong team collaboration skills in cross-functional environments
Flex Skills / Nice to Have
- Experience working between Product Owners or Product Managers and Development teams
- Experience collaborating with Architecture and Design teams
- Strong background in backlog management and organization
- Experience in roadmap development, milestone tracking, and delivery forecasting
- Prior experience in release planning within enterprise or financial services environments
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, or Agile Delivery Analyst
