We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Financials professional to support and enhance enterprise financial systems. This role will partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Financials, ensuring reliable operations, strong controls, and continuous improvement across financial processes.

Workday Financials Configuration & Support

• Configure, maintain, and support Workday Financials modules, including Financial Management, Revenue Management, Cash Management, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Customer Accounts, and Banking.

• Provide hands-on development of Workday reports, including simple, advanced, and matrix reports, as well as calculated fields using multiple business objects.

• Support Workday customer contracts, invoices, billing schedules, and revenue recognition schedules.

• Manage and troubleshoot Workday security, including role-based and user-based security groups, and resolve access-related issues.

Business Analysis & Delivery

• Lead or support all phases of the Workday lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment.

• Develop end-to-end business process frameworks, including approval workflows and business process flows.

• Review Workday roadmap items and bi-annual feature releases to identify beneficial functionality, recommend best practices, and ensure regression testing is completed with no SLA impact.

• Partner with external Workday consultants as needed to resolve system issues and deliver enhancements.

Production Support & Operations

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production support issues.

• Perform and document root cause analysis for production incidents.

• Support job scheduling and integrations using enterprise scheduling tools.

• Utilize JIRA for work tracking, issue management, and reporting.

Leadership & Communication

• Prepare and present regular status updates to stakeholders.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

• Communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

• Manage stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Required

• Strong experience with Workday Financials, including reporting and configuration.

• Hands-on experience creating custom, advanced, and matrix reports, along with calculated fields.

• Solid understanding of financial processes such as billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, and customer contracts.

• Experience supporting Workday bi-annual releases and performing regression testing.

• Working knowledge of Workday security concepts and troubleshooting access issues.

• Experience with JIRA or similar work management tools.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and learn quickly.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred

• Experience with test automation tools.

• Experience with tax or compliance-related systems.

• Experience with enterprise job scheduling tools.

• Hybrid work model with on-site presence required multiple days per week at a regional office location, subject to change based on business needs.
