This team builds highly scalable backend platforms that process millions of transactions while emphasizing performance, reliability, and modern engineering practices within a collaborative environment.

Job Description:

An enterprise technology team is seeking a Java Backend Developer to help design, build, and support distributed backend applications that power mission-critical business systems. This role is focused on developing secure APIs, cloud-native services, and high-performance applications capable of handling large-scale workloads. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex engineering challenges while partnering closely with architects, DevOps, QA, and product teams.

Required Skills:

• Strong professional experience developing backend applications using Java and Spring Boot

• Experience designing, building, and supporting RESTful APIs

• Hands-on experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL database technologies

• Experience building microservices and distributed applications in cloud environments

• Strong understanding of API security including OAuth2, JWT, authentication, authorization, and secure integrations

• Experience developing systems designed to process high-volume, high-throughput workloads

• Familiarity with containerization technologies and cloud-native development practices

• Strong experience building Java APIs

• Experience working with SQL databases

Bonus / Soft Skills:

• Experience working within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Familiarity with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and DevOps best practices

• Experience with messaging or event streaming technologies

• Knowledge of AI agent technologies or agentic frameworks

• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI copilots, or generative AI tools

• Professional experience with Python is a plus
