Pay Rate : $70.00-$96.15/hr ($145K-$200K/yr, DOE)

Overview
Our client, a global leader in advanced autonomous and robotic solutions and creator of the industry's most advanced unmanned command and control solution for vehicle operations, is seeking a Robotic Systems Architect to lead the design, development, and integration of advanced robotic systems. This role is responsible for defining system architecture, ensuring performance and scalability, and guiding cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in robotics, systems engineering, and software/hardware integration, along with strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.

• Lead the architecture, design, and integration of complex robotic systems
• Define system requirements, interfaces, and performance specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, controls, and mechanical engineering
• Drive system-level decisions across sensing, perception, control, and actuation
• Oversee system validation, testing, and performance optimization
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of robotic platforms
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the development lifecycle
• Support prototyping, system bring-up, and deployment activities
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business and product goals

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 10 years of experience in robotics, systems engineering, or related domains
• Strong experience in robotic system architecture and integration
• Expertise in areas such as controls systems, perception, sensors, or autonomy
• Experience with real-time systems and embedded platforms
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Experience with autonomous systems or mobile robotics
• Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) or similar frameworks
• Experience with simulation tools and digital twins
• Knowledge of AI/ML applications in robotics
• Background in high-reliability or safety-critical systems
