Summary:
Longstanding, successful Utah company that provides Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering design for commercial buildings.
Work includes designing HVAC systems, electrical power and lighting systems, and plumbing systems that bring buildings to life.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and lead a well-utilized department that performs within project budgets
• Deliver high-quality electrical designs and plans for commercial building projects
• Develop team leads and staff so the department grows in capability, accountability, and on-time performance
• Support teams of engineers and designers, help them solve challenges, strengthen their leadership abilities, and keep teams moving forward
• Review designs, resolving technical challenges and guide projects through challenges to completion
• Work with architects, owners, and team members to create successful outcomes

• Hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering
• 10 years of experience designing electrical systems for commercial buildings
• 5 years of experience reviewing and stamping electrical plans for commercial building projects
• Have led and mentored teams of engineers and designers
• Have experience supporting or developing other leaders
• Have designed electrical power and lighting systems for commercial buildings
• Have worked directly with architects, owners, and design teams to solve project challenges
• Have reviewed plans for quality, constructability, and code compliance
• Have balanced technical quality with project schedule and budget expectations
