Responsibilities:
- Build and grow a portfolio of commercial real estate loans and client relationships across the New England Market
- Actively prospect and source new lending opportunities in the market
- Underwrite your own deals, analyze the property, assess the borrower, and make credit recommendations independently
- Put together deal proposals and present them to internal credit committee for approval
- Negotiate loan terms, work through documentation, and drive deals to closing
- Partner with internal teams and external legal counsel throughout the closing process
- Cross sell additional bank products to existing clients
- Represent the bank at industry events, conferences, and networking function
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience specifically in commercial real estate relationship management or lending
- Ability to underwrite deals independently without heavy support
- Strong presentation skills, comfortable in front of credit committees and clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards
- Proficient in CoStar, Argus, Moody's CreditLens, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
