We’re partnering with a design/build studio in Bergen County that specializes exclusively in workplace interiors, delivering turnkey commercial solutions from concept to completion. Their integrated approach brings together design, construction, custom millwork, and furniture—all under one roof.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a Senior Interior Designer who is ready to step into a leadership track, with the ability to mentor, guide, and eventually manage a team while remaining hands-on in the design process.

✨ The Role

Lead projects from programming and space planning through coordination and installation, ensuring design intent is carried through every phase. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams across design, construction, and delivery, while helping to shape project direction and elevate overall design quality. This role also offers the opportunity to support the firm’s continued growth in the workplace sector and take on increasing leadership responsibilities over time, including oversight and mentorship of junior staff.

👤 Who They’re Looking For

They are seeking a seasoned designer with 10 years of experience in workplace, corporate, or commercial interiors, who brings a strong balance of design vision and technical execution. You should be confident leading projects, interfacing with clients, and guiding team members, with the long-term goal of stepping into a team leadership/management role. Experience in programming, space planning, design development, coordination, and project execution is essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced design/build environment.

🛠️ Required Skills & Experience

Candidates must have prior corporate or commercial interiors experience, along with strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Comfort with site visits and client meetings is important, and access to a vehicle is required.

🎓 Education

Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.

💰 Compensation & Benefits

$140-150k salary range (commensurate with experience)
