Part-time 15-20 hours /week Mon-Fri varying from 9 am - 4 pm

BT Position Summary:

The Behavior Technician (BT) will use evidence-based protocols and positive reinforcement to teach or increase language and communication skills, promote play and social skills, encourage daily living activities, and develop pre-academic skills in the home, community, and/or school setting. You will directly contribute to our client's success stories by providing them with the necessary skills to be successful

BT Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Implement one on one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) intervention programs to children in a home, school or other environments as needed
  • Observe and collect data on the child's behavior
  • Teach child the specific behavior skills called for in the treatment plan
  • Attend regular supervisory meetings with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Maintain clear lines of communication and professional boundaries

BT Requirements:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent minimum, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within 90 days of hire
  • Patience and ability to engage effectively with active children
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a therapy team and independently
  • Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week
  • Adherence to the RBT Ethics Code and company policies
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, run, kneel, stand, and actively participate in play
  • Clean background check and positive professional references

Pay Range:

$19.50/hour until you are a certified RBT, then $20.50/hour.
