Construction Services Group in Neosho is accepting applications for a General Laborer.
Typical Duties
- Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment around the job site
- Assist carpenters, concrete finishers, and other trades as needed
- Help set up and tear down concrete forms
- Assist with concrete pours, including placing and spreading concrete
- Dig, backfill, and grade by hand
- Set up and take down scaffolding and barricades
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of debris
- Operate small equipment such as compactors, saws, and power buggies
- Cleaning of tools and equipment
- Use of hand tools and power tools
- Properly follow OSHA safety procedures
- Responsible for other duties assigned for the job
Qualifications
- Construction experience preferred but not required; willing to train the right person
- Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
- Ability to give and understand hand signals
- Regular and punctual attendance
- OSHA-10 card (required)
- Applicants who are offered employment will be required to submit to a Drug/Alcohol test
Physical Requirements
- Bending, Kneeling, Stooping, Crouching, Twisting, Standing
- Reaching, Handling, Grasping
- Climbing ladders, Balancing on scaffold and walkways
- Lifting 50 pounds
- Carry objects 50 to 100 pounds
Work Conditions
- Environment is outside conditions that involves all weather extremes
- Construction site with uneven terrain and mobile construction equipment
Pay & Job Type
Position will be full-time with benefits available. Starting wage is based on previous experience.
