Job Details
- Day Shift
- Full Time
- Complete general plant/mine labor tasks and clean-up of production areas – including working with shovels and various other hand tools.
- Perform daily pre-and post-inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
- Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
- To be trained in other entry level production positions and possibly heavy equipment positions to fill in as needed during vacations, absences, and increased production demand times.
- Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties assigned by management.
- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA/ MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Previous mining experience preferred.
- Experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment – bobcat, skid steer, and haul truck is a plus.
- Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to work outdoors which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as production requires.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen at any time.
- Must be able to provide documentation to prove identity and eligibility for authorization to work in the U.S.
